About Us
SOENECS is a research and innovation practice established in 2014. Since its creation, we have been at the forefront of leading the creation of solutions for the public and private sector to enable them to deliver Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) and the achievement of Net Zero through the adoption for Circular Economy principles.
Our team have been committed to helping organisations transition to the achievement of the solutions because we know that we have only a few years to make strategic changes to enable our planet to be left in good position for future generations.
To achieve that aim SOENECS provide strategic research, advice, training, solutions, chairing and facilitation on the topics of circular economy, environmental auditing, waste & resource management. This includes:
We are a small team, led by Prof David Greenfield, with Natalie Ibbott, Jacob Arney, Jodi Harford, Kate Graefe, Amelia Burrell and Rosaleen Hughes, that select projects to work on that are delivering environmental, economic and social change, we have a brilliant network of associates that we can bring into projects to enable us to have the right skills to deliver a project.
In recent times SOENECS has led or been co lead in the creation of the following reports:

- Creating and writing Circular Economy strategies/action plans
- Delivering Circular Economy Training through the CE institute
- Undertaking bespoke data modelling for waste and resource management
- Creating and writing bespoke Research reports
- Providing circular supply chain procurement advice
- Setting up and creating of evaluation programmes
- Commission and delivery of international research activities
- Creation and undertaking of collaborative research projects.
- Provision of moderating services for events and conferences
