The first wednesday of every month is EDC and CEC club night...this month on the 4th April, 16 of met at Grow 40 in Kensington Gardens to discuss all things circular and agree a plan for the next twelve months
There were a few actions agreed, here is a quick summary:
  1. We agreed to set up a sub-group to determine a one-year plan for making Brighton & Hove a “Circular City”. This will report back to the next event on 2nd May.
  2. We agreed to share a link to the BSI 8001 https://www.bsigroup.com/en-GB/standards/benefits-of-using-standards/becoming-more-sustainable-with-standards/BS8001-Circular-Economy/ – Thanks Peter
  3. I agreed to share a link to the RAEng symposium details: https://www.raeng.org.uk/policy/international-policy-and-development/gcrf-international-development/frontiers-of-engineering-for-development/upcoming-symposia if you are interested in attending, please let me know or register asap
